The Order of Sun and Moon: The Legacy of Agammenion has been thrown back into the annals of time. At first the legendary items of the blackest of rituals were to gather dust in the Guilds of Mercinae and Parrius, who, in neutural relations, divided the loot between them. With the hope of exceeding the previous hundred years of natural days and nights, they so scattered the sacred items of the Long Night ritual. However, sickness and discomfort from the realms of Darkness and Death plagued them, even shattering the treasure stores so that the Long Night may begin again. One valiant Magess stood at the foot of Mount Olympus, staring into the coal-fire eyes of Thanatos, god of darkness. The last remaining item in her control would not be wrested away from her; it was the Blackened Axe, crucial to the dark ritual. After rubbing on her arms some magical sapphire-dust given to her by Solontus, god of the stars, she held the Axe tight as she spun, knowing with certainty that the divine Thanatos would pluck it from the sky like a hawk does a sparrow. And yet, as sapphire-dust trailed it like a comet, the Axe flew well over Thanatos, up into the mountain tops of Olympus -- now forever out of reach for mortalkind.
