They also teach that violent storms are a necessity, since they sweep aside the weak structures and wash away detritus. The destruction of a big storm can reveal new resources. The order believes that nothing challenges people like combat. It promotes self awareness and military readiness. They encourage its members to seek martial training from all sorts.
