Although Avalon has hundreds of methods of earning gold, a new character will desire a fast and easy method of earning enough to afford to outfit himself. You would be advised to request aid from one of the elders of your city - type CITIZENS to see which fellow citizens are playing Avalon while you are. They will normally be only too happy to show you a few easy methods of earning small sums of gold. All of the cities have folk desiring items or simple tasks performed and most reward the person who executes it with gold.
